"Pardon me, M’lady, but I have been without a proper meal for several days now. Do excuse my intrusion."

Yeeeeehaw!

Never started off a blog with a quote before. I am a bit impressed with myself for finding one that cool. Thank you, Mark Z. Danielewski, for everything you’ve done for me (you’ve done a lot).

Anyway. What to blog about…

I guess in recent news, I’m about to be a radio show DJ for my college’s radio stream. That’s kinda cool, right? Yeah. Too bad I’m just as creatively blocked to that as I am to updating this dang blog thing. I have no idea what the theme of my show is going to be… only that I am going to be playing “party music,” and I will indeed be the DJ. In charge. I think I might call myself “DJ Tango.” It has a ring to it.

Maybe I’ll come up with a theme for both my blog and that show soon.

But I doubt it. :]

"Who has never killed an hour? Not casually or without thought, but carefully: a premeditated murder of minutes. The violence comes from a combination of giving up, not caring, and a resignation that getting past it is all you can hope to accomplish. So you kill the hour. You do not work, you do not read, you do not daydream. If you sleep it is not because you need to sleep. And when at last it is over, there is no evidence: no weapon, no blood, and no body. The only clue might be the shadows beneath your eyes or a terribly thin line near the corner of your mouth indicating something has been suffered, that in the privacy of your life you have lost something and the loss is too empty to share."
